| Comment | ssp acuticauda. I had been laying low, photographing finches bathing in a roadside waterhole, when some Long-tailed Finches began to approach in search of these grassy burrs. I suspect they were food rather than nesting material. Whatever the reason, they were extremely popular. | ||||||||||||||||||
