| Comment | The Rainbow Bee-eater can be a difficult bird to photograph in flight due to the incredible speed they attain when in pursuit of insects. I made several attempts to get this image and was able to get it by watching and anticipating the direction after takeoff. They inhabit the areas along the creek prior to and during nesting time often making their nest in the banks of the creek. | ||||||||||||||||||
