| Comment | This Pacific Black Duck was resting with its head buried deep in its plumage before briefly removing it upon hearing Noisy Miner alarm calls. | ||||||||||||||||||
| Equipment | Equipment: Nikon Z8, Nikkor Z 600mm f/6.3 VR S Settings: 600mm, f/6.3, 1/2500s, ISO-1250 Workflow: Processed in Lightroom and sent to Photoshop for downsize, sharpen and export. Field notes: The bird is lit by both direct sunlight and sunlight reflected off the water. Processing notes: I also had images which captured the full reflection of the bird but this crop worked better in my opinion. | ||||||||||||||||||
