| Comment | Subsp lineata. Can be easily confused with Brown Thornbills over much of it's range. The distinguishing features are a white supercillium, a streaked rufous forehead, white streaking of the ear coverts and a more olive-green plumage over back. Not so easy when feeding in the shadows or high in the canopy. | ||||||||||||||||||
