| Comment | Thornbills are one of the hardest birds to capture clean as they move so fast, so I was really happy to capture this one moving through the forest with other Buff-rumpled and Brown Thornbills also. I've left the shadow on the underside of the bird as is because of visible detail. The bird blends naturally with a creamy wash of colour in the background. The pupil and iris are clear and the beak as well as the claws are nice and sharp. The only negative things about the image would be the slightly blown highlights on the left of the bird and the soiled plumage under the birds chin | ||||||||||||||||||
