| Comment | A dawn flight of Silver Gulls as the sun rises over the Bay waters close to the mouth of Little River, Werribee. Flocks of birds have their own special beauty. There are flocks of over a thousand Silver Gulls at Werribee. They are amongst the first birds up and about at dawn, and early in the day whole flocks may be seen flying backwards and forwards along the coast for the best feeding spots, depending on tides. Here, in silhouette, they evoke their own special beauty, and some of the hope and optimism that comes with the start of each new day. | ||||||||||||||||||
