| Comment | I was amazed to find a solitary silver gull on a quiet, untouched beach on Morton Island. There were no footprints or signs of life except the gull itself. As I took the photo, it seemed to cry out as if saying, "Leave me alone!". I chose this image because it reveals a rare side of the Silver Gull- solitary and watchful rather than noisy and chaotic. The untouched simplicity of the beach sand draws full attention to the singular gull, making this image both striking and memorable. | ||||||||||||||||||
