| Comment | Taken in a local park opposite my home in an area where corellas and galahs reign supreme. The crested pigeons are very welcome visitors, one of the only truly native to the area species we see there. I am shooting with my 600mm on the ground with the foot mounted upwards, getting me as low as possible. This has helped throw the ugly background completely out of focus. With no limestone retaining walls and olive trees, it made for a nice portrait of these quirky native birds. | ||||||||||||||||||
