| Comment | A flock of Red-capped Parrots were busily checking out possible nest cavities in a stand of trees by Lake Seppings. I am convinced that this bird is an adult male due to its entirely deep scarlet red cap; the females generally have a duller and smaller such cap, often mixed with green and yellow feathers. True to habit of the species, all of the parrots stayed up rather high on the morning, never venturing down. | ||||||||||||||||||
