CommentPlenty to be joyful about as a pair of Brolgas, in their inimitable way, herald a new day at the Werribee T-Section Lagoon, and celebrate their recently arrived youngster beside them. Just a few weeks ago, the fledgling was covered in fuzzy grey down (see 49527) but now is already showing the beginnings of adult plumage, and no doubt due for some flying lessons before too long. Storks may get all the credit for new babies but Brolgas are bringing them into being too and happy to broadcast their joy to the whole wide world.
