CommentAbout 30 Dusky Woodswallows appeared at our place last week. The were quite unafraid of me and I was able to get this birds on the fence wire while I had the camera on the next post. The effect with the wire was a happy accident. I have called it a juvenile as there is a small white gape visible. The feathers are consistent with an adult but the white gape suggests it is not fully mature.
I darkened the background.
