CommentI was particularly keen to get an image of this individual in its eye-catching fresh plumage amongst the other storm-petrels around the boat. It doesn't take long for these birds to become quickly 'washed-out' due to the harsh environments in which they live. The rather gloomy conditions of the day added to the image.
EquipmentCanon EOS R3, Canon RF 100-500mm lens. Handheld at 500mm, exposed at 1/3200 secs, f/8.0 on ISO 2000. Manual. Processed using Lightroom with Topaz De-Noise plug-in for noise reduction.
