| Comment | The long, broad, even-width wings with deep-fingered tips, the compact body and fanned barred tail are important features to identify this light morph Little Eagle. The underwing pattern is distinctive; although reminiscent of the M-shaped pattern of the Whistling Kite, it differs in that the light bands are diagonal and meet the body near the trailing edge of the wings. | ||||||||||||||||||
