CommentA resubmission to replace an earlier post, with improved processing. The bird was quite close and the crop here is only about 10% smaller than the original frame, but I had enough room to move the bird away from plumb-centred as in the previous version. This version has better detail, colour, highlights, contrast and sharpness than the original post, but at the expense of a little more shadowing around the head. This bird gave the impression of quite a dignified bearing, quite unlike your standard average Silver Gull.
