CommentPrivileged to spend some up close and personal time with this Swan as he did his wash ans rinse routine. Only a slight crop so was very close and he/she had no problem with me shooting away at 10fps mechanical shutter. Back/side light was a deliberate choice to get the see- through white feathers which also gave me a nice rim light on the neck and light on the back. Of course I would have liked an eye catch light but like most things I had to compromise.
