CommentI had a recent trip to the Mallee and visited a business called 'Explore the Mallee'. They have a property with preserved Mallee scrub, bird hides and water points to attract the birds. It can be accessed for a fee - but well worth it. It's a great place to see and photograph some Mallee locals.

Bird hide and water trough.
Processed with LightRoom Classic (Cropping, tone and colour adjustments), Photoshop 22.2 with Neat Image v8 plugin (Noise reduction and Sharpening).
