CommentMulga Parrots are a beautiful bird to photograph and a common sight at Gluepot reserve. The water stations in front of the bird hides are often in shade which is good for the birds but not so for the photographers. This day was quite dull and I took the shot at f5.6 and iso 5000. The use of Neat Image in post processesing helped control the noise that comes with high iso images and I was happy with the result.
EquipmentCanon 5D Mark 4 - Canon 200-400 f4 iso 5000 - 1/500 - f5.6 - 560mm - manual exposure - monopod Initially processed in Canon DPP 4, finished in Photoshop Elements CC with Neat Image as per process advised by Glenn Pure/Ian Wilson.
