CommentI have entered this image because it is difficult to get this close to a busy Fairy-wren, and often the blue colour is not accurate. I was watching the bird hopping around in the vegetation and suddenly from the corner of my eye I spotted him beside me. I swung round, sprayed, and prayed. This is the result and it needed very little post processing. The Bird of the Year.
