| Comment | I took this photo just after mid day and sun was bright on my face on right side . Bird was foraging on the ground and low bushes under a collection of large Wattle trees and he was bouncing here and there moving constantly from light to dark. I had kneel down to get to eye level and in this photo bird was fairly close to the camera. He was sotting on this twig above a little stream of water from the pond and it created a clear back ground. He appears to be in 'alert pose ' and ready to jump out of that twig. I am pleased that the image is showing its bright blue breeding plumage | ||||||||||||||||||
