CommentI am entering this image as my very best for 2021. Feel very privileged to have the opportunity to capture this fledgling now that it meets the recently clarified 'acceptable' rules. As can be clearly seen this WTE fledgling has acquired structured feathers and is flying above the nest and to and from neighbouring trees. I was pleased with the action, the sharpness, detail and exposure. And the fact that the bird was framed by the tree trunk either side. In line with the Code of Ethics I am not able to reveal the exact location. A small section of the top of the foreground branch was removed. Processed through DXOPureRaw, ACR and PS. Cropped for composition. It took many hours over many days and patience and persistence to capture this image and I am very proud of it.
