| Comment | I chose this image because I like the complementary colours of the Chestnut Rail, warm rocks and the blurred green of the Mangroves behind. I like that there is a sense of purpose and movement as the rail lifts his foot to emerge from the foliage. I feel like although the bird is partly concealed by the grass this is in keeping with the secretiveness of this species. I felt fortunate to see and photograph him. | ||||||||||||||||||
