CommentDuring the incoming migration Yellow-faced Honeyeaters drop in to the Australian National Botanic Gardens to feed. Some stay; most move on. The annual return migration is a major feature of the ACT avian year. This image is of interest because the Proteaceae have developed 'presenters' to take advantage of avian pollinators. The pollen on the forehead of this bird is clear to see.
