Hello,

As you may have seen in the recent e-News mail-out, we have announced that The Tom Oliver Award 2022 will open for entries from 1st October 2021 through until 31st March 2022.

Our website has been updated, so please take a look at the types of entries the judges are seeking and the rules and conditions of the award.

Previous recipients of the award are:

2015 - Brian O’Leary with A Water-spray Technique for Unique Bird Photography
2017 - Georgina Steytler with The Art of Bird Photography
2019 - Con Boekel with Bird Photography for What?

Why not take some inspiration from the links above and challenge yourself by submitting an entry?

Hello,

Our President, Tim Van Leeuwen, has put together a short video in which Jen Carr, the Tom Oliver Award coordinator, and the past three winners, Georgina Steytler, Brian O'Leary and Con Boekel, answer a series of questions about the award and their entries.

We hope this will inspire you to submit an entry for the 2022 award.

Watch the video

Best regards.
