When posting a new topic, please ensure that you select the correct category for your post in the top drop-down box of the edit window. The default entry is the first category shown on the All Categories page; this is unlikely to be the category that you want. The Category drop-down box will be present if you click the New Topic tab in the Forum menu; if you are viewing a particular category of the Forum and you use the New Topic button in the Category Header section, the drop-down box will not be present, and your new post topic will automatically appear in the category that you are viewing.

| Hi Ian, and welcome to BirdLife Photography. I'm sure you'll find plenty here to help you on your photography journey. I look forward to seeing some of your images in due course. You might find it useful to post an image you'd like feedback or comments on to our Critique gallery; you'll be sure to get comments from some of our resident experts. You might also like to move closer to the renowned Western Treatment Plant, quite close to Melbourne, where the birds are great - particularly over summer, when all the migratory waders are here - and the weather is usually much better than Brisbane  Just kidding - but not about the WTP birdlife.Rob BirdLife Photography Website Administrator |
