Now is the time to visit Bool Lagoon and Little Bool. The water levels are the best in 20 years, so for some of us we will not see it like this again in our lifetime. Hoary headed grebes, lots of Magpie geese with young, Black swans with young,Ibis,Blue billed ducks,Reed warblers, Australian Bittern, Swamp Harrier to mention just a few. You can camp at Bool Lagoon but we choose to stay in van park in Naracoorte for extra comfort. Brolgas are sometimes present, but we have not seen them.
