As I am already a subscriber I haven't gone to the point of registering but if you have wanted to try LR out here could be a great opportunity. If you do, please give some feedback to the community on how you got on.

A comparison of the free version vs other versions is here: https://www.adobe.com/au/products/photoshop-lightroom/compare-plans.html?promoid=VKW3KGR6&mv=other. It is not very detailed but it seems that the free version includes all basic adjustments and on-computer cataloguing but not a range of advanced editing features such as healing and selective editing. However seems like it could be a good way of starting and evaluating the Adobe products, or for those wanting to try raw processing.
