Posting a New Topic

When posting a new topic, please ensure that you select the correct category for your post in the top drop-down box of the edit window. The default entry is the first category shown on the All Categories page; this is unlikely to be the category that you want. The Category drop-down box will be present if you click the New Topic tab in the Forum menu; if you are viewing a particular category of the Forum and you use the New Topic button in the Category Header section, the drop-down box will not be present, and your new post topic will automatically appear in the category that you are viewing.

Hi Guys,
I was wondering where to find the section where an individual can present an image for member's critique?
I know where the Mystery Critique section is but that is for competition entries. From my clouded memory, I thought that there was a column
where you could present an image and receive helpful, or not, comments on how to improve your images and/or technique from other members?
Forgive me if this is obvious to some, but it has been a few years since i last posted and my memory is nearly as thin as my hair. . .

Hi Bruce,

Post your image(s) to the Critique Gallery, and other members can/will offer comments to help you. This page outlines the purpose and guidelines for this gallery.. To post an image to this gallery, simply select it in the drop-down at the top of the Submit Photo Page.

I'm very interested in having some of my images given the once over and give some thought to the replies.
I have already read through a few of the images and critiques and can see the issues being addressed, but I now wonder as to a photographer's intent or interpretation
of the end result of their image and how important it is that they relay this information into their written submission of the photo that they wish critiqued,
