Thanks so much to Birdlife Photography for holding the BPBC recently on the 'Cold' Coast. Though the weather was poor, the conference wasn't. It was fabulous to meet some BLP Committee Members and other BLP members - it's always wonderful to put faces to the names. Thanks to Rob Parker and Graham Cam, especially for letting us travel with you on the birding trips and for answering a barage of questions. Information and stories were willingly shared and I felt like I was 'home'. I'm so used to being the only real bird geek I know, so it was so refreshing to be with like-minded birders and photographers. Thanks especially to the Conference Committee members who did an amazing job. The lecture sessions were informative, non-patronising, funny in many cases and inspirational. So much so, I had to purchase a new Nikon Z7.II - oops!
I can't wait for Adelaide in March 2024 - see you there!
